Former minister RK Roja’s daughter wins Herman B Wells award
Tirupati: Former tourism minister and actress RK Roja's daughter Anshu Roja Selvamani was honoured with the Herman B Wells Award by Indiana University at Bloomington, USA. The former minister, along with her husband and Kollywood director RK Selvamani, took part in the ceremony. Anshu Roja Selvamani is majoring in computer science at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering. She was the 2025 recipient of the Maureen Biggers Leadership Award for Equity and Technology Excellence and the 2024-25 recipient of the Luddy Academic Excellence Award. Anshu Selvamani was a finalist in the Chen Wu Innovation Challenge and received the Grace Hopper Scholarship, Global Entrepreneur Award-2024 and the Global Impact Advocate Award 2025.
