DCI signs Rs 2,157 crore fuel MoU with IOCL
Visakhapatnam: Dredging Corporation of India Ltd (DCI) has signed a ₹2,157.07 crore Memorandum of Understanding with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) to supply fuel for its dredging fleet over the next five years. The long-term agreement ensures reliable fuel availability for DCI's nationwide operations, bolstering its ability to deliver uninterrupted dredging services for ports and national projects.The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organisations, including IOCL's K John Prasad, country head (institutional business), Piyush Mittal, executive director and state head (TAPSO), Manoj D Kudale, chief general manager (institutional business), and Nishant Gulati, DIBH, Vizag DO. Representing DCI were Capt S Divakar, managing director and CEO; Capt KM Choudhary, GM (business development); and B Durga Prasad Babu, HOD (materials).By securing a steady fuel supply amid ongoing energy sector disruptions, DCI has reinforced its operational resilience and strengthened preparedness for critical maritime infrastructure projects.
