Cyber security training drive launched in Vizag
Visakhapatnam: A national-level cyber security awareness and training initiative was launched in Vizag city on Tuesday. A strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) was inked between Citizen Force, TEMA, CMAI, and CSAI, marking a pivotal step in creating a "protective shield" for Digital India. Speaking at the occasion, Vizag police commissioner Dr Shankabrata Bagchi highlighted the sharp rise in cybercrimes and urged the public—especially the youth—to remain vigilant against online fraud and be cautious with social media usage. The primary objective of this collaboration is to train over one lakh youth in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cyber Security through practical, industry-aligned programmes.
