hacked to death

by a gang of miscreants in Eluru on Sunday.

, 30, was residing at Lambadapet in Eluru town. The incident occurred around 2 pm when he was on his way to purchase few carpentry material in the market. When he reached bus stand junction, miscreants, who arrived in a two-wheeler, threw chilli powder on his face, pulled him and attacked him with lethal weapons in no time.

As soon as he collapsed on the ground, the miscreants fled the spot. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital where doctors pronounced him brought dead.

Eluru SP Bhaskar Bhushan and circle inspector visited the spot and said the assailants were identified with the help of CCTV footage available from the spot. “Faces of the accused were identified through the video footage. They were at large and we will catch them soon,” said Eluru SP Bhaskar Bhushan.

A case was filed in Eluru one town. The deceased is survived by one wife and two children.
