4-year-old boy rescued hours after kidnap in Vij

Vijayawada: A four-year-old-boy, who was abducted by four persons, including two women at Bhavanipuram in the city on Wednesday afternoon, was rescued hours later from Tummalapalem village under Guduru police station limits in Krishna district. The accused demanded a ransom of 50 lakh to release the boy.
The arrested have been identified as Lingam Devender alias Devendra (32), former home-guard in police department and native of Hyderabad , V Bujji Babu (42), Usha Subhasini (36) and T Manga Rani (34), all natives of Krishna district. The investigation revealed that the boy was kidnapped over financial disputes between his father Gopi Krishna and accused Devendra, a former home guard.
  Police said that after failing to find Gopi in his house, the accused kidnapped his son who was playing in front of the house. Later, they demanded the ransom amount from Gopi over phone call and threatened to kill his son if he failed to pay it.
Acting upon the complaint from the boy’s mother, the cops formed four special teams and nabbed the accused.
