Siddharth University VC among world's top 5% scientists

Gorakhpur: Vice-chancellor of Siddharth University, Kapilvastu, Prof Kavita Shah has been ranked among the world's top 5% scientists in the prestigious SciRank Global Registry 2025, marking a significant achievement for both the academician and the university.

The SciRank Global Registry evaluates scientists on parameters such as the quality of research publications, international citations, research impact, innovation and overall academic contributions. Inclusion in the list is considered a major global recognition for excellence in scientific research.

Congratulating the VC, members of the university fraternity described the achievement as a source of inspiration for faculty members, researchers and students. They expressed confidence that the university would continue to achieve new milestones under her guidance.

Reacting to the recognition, Prof Shah said Siddharth University is steadily progressing beyond its formative years, with faculty members and research scholars working diligently to strengthen its academic and research ecosystem.

She expressed confidence that the university would soon be counted among long-established institutions despite its relatively young age.
