‘Rs 500 notes should’ve come out before Rs 2k’

hailed the demonetization move of Prime Minister Narendra Modi but denounced its implementation.

Addressing the

rally

of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday, Aditya said, “We are not against PM’s move, but his way of implementing it is wrong. He should have first brought out Rs 500 notes instead of Rs 2,000.” He added that the cooperative movement became stronger during SP regime.

Addressing the rally, Shivpal criticized strongly the PM for demonetisation and accused him of harassing common people by banning notes of higher denomination. Instead of fulfilling the promise of ‘Achhe Din’ and bringing black money, the Modi government has deceived the people by forcing them to queue up before the banks, said Shivpal.

The rally was also addressed by several others, including Afzal Ansari, Sibghatullah Ansari, Ambika Chowdhari, Kailash Nath Yadav, Ram Govind Chowdhary, Narad Rai, Gayatri Prajapati, Vijay Mishra, Balram Yadav and Om Prakash Singh.
