VARANASI: New age practices of total quality management were discussed on the fourth day of six-day Quality Improvement Program (QIP) in the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU) on Friday.
Addressing the participants, dean of students, BHU prof SK Sharma stressed on re-engineering of business process for total quality management in the new age.

Earlier, Abhijeet Singh FMS BHU, emphasized on different quality tools that could be used in managing any project efficiently and effectively.
The dean and head, FMS, prof Deepak Burman, program coordinator Dr SC Singh and other faculty members were also present on the occasion.
Seminar: The two-day National Alumni Meet in Banaras Hindu University (starting on January 29) would also witness a national seminar on 'Visions of Mahamana for self reliant India'.
According to varsity spokesperson, the two-day seminar would witness participation of BHU alumni and experts from various fields that would address different technical sessions on the occasion.
A number of eminent personalities including Dr SK Sharma (Ayush department, Government of India) and Ramlal Singh Yadav, former DGP, Chattisgarh are likely to address the sessions during the program.

A doumnetary on the lives of Pt Madan Mohan Malviya would be also shown on the occasion.
Annual Day function: A series of cultural programs would mark the Annual Day function of Mahila Mahavidyalaya in Banaras Hindu University that would be held on January 27 this year.
Prof DP Singh, Vice Chancellor BHU will be the chief guest on the occasion.
