Political parties unite, hail & celebrate Abhinandan’s return

Gorakhpur: Different political parties together celebrated the return of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman at Rani Laxmibai park in Gorakhpur on Friday.
Congress district vice-president Anwar Hussain, SP leader Aftab Ahmad and BSP leader Khwaja Shamshuddin danced on the tune of patriotic songs and celebrated the occasion with sweets and crackers.
Pakistan detained Wing Commander Varthaman on Wednesday when his MiG 21 fighter jet was downed. Abhinandhan completed his education in Delhi and joined the Indian Air Force in 1994.
“Our Air Force gave a jaw breaking reply to Pakistan and we are very happy that Pakistan is releasing our Hero pilot. Pakistan knows that Indian has become a super power. Pakistan was divided once and if it won’t stop its terror activities, Pakistan will be vanished from the map of the world,” said Anwar Hussain. Harinath Yadav of SP, said, “The entire nation is celebrating moment of happiness. Wing Commander Abhinandan’s attitude has taught us that patience and being calm and composed is very important in adverse situations.”
