is in the eye of storm. The unions of teachers, non-teaching staff and students are protesting against him. The sit-in of the three unions entered the second day on Sunday . Dubey's term ends in December.

is angry over change of registrar and alleged bid of violating the norms of UGC and order of the governor in the process of recruitment of teachers by the VC. The nonteaching staff is demanding release of salary for September and implementation of
Seventh Pay Commission recommendations. The students' union have their four point demand. The VC said he was ready for talks with all the groups to find solutions to their demands.
Speaking to TOI over phone, vice-chancellor Yadunath Prasad Dubey said that he had discussed the financial issues of SSU with chief minister in Lucknow.
He said that the non-teaching staff had been asked not to lose patience but they started the agitation despite efforts being made for early release of their salary. He said that registrar Prabhat Dwivedi had not been removed from the office of registrar.He overlooked all his instructions and orders, so he was asked to look after other tasks, Dubey added.
