Varanasi: In a heartening gesture on International Women's Day, the Kashi Vishwanath Dham shrine administration will roll out the red carpet for women devotees. For the special occasion, women will be allowed to enter through Gate-4B, the VIP entry point, without waiting in long queues.Temple CEO Vishwa Bhushan Mishra said women devotees are being accorded VIP treatment, a heartfelt tribute to the revered ‘Matrishakti' (mother power). "This initiative to accord VIP treatment to the women devotees was started last year. We are committed to crafting an unparalleled spiritual experience for them," he added.

He said all women, locals and visitors alike, will enjoy free entry through Gate-4B for a hassle-free darshan at Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Women with little ones in tow will get priority entry and darshan, Mishra said. Kashi locals still get their dedicated slots (4-5 am and 4-5 pm), but for all other women, Gate-4B will be open for hassle-free entry throughout the day. The temple trust has extended greetings on the occasion of International Women's Day and prayed for the blessings of Lord Vishwanath and the grace of the divine feminine power to remain upon humanity.
