VARANASI: Taking a strict note of the condition of roads in the city, PWD principle secretary Rajneesh Dubey has directed officials to complete the patch work of roads by October 15.
He also said that the government will soon sanction the construction of the Maduadeeh Railway over bridge and the Chowkaghat-Lahartara four-lane over bridge. Dubey said the funds for the construction of the 1.2km Lahartara-Banaras Hindu University road will be sanctioned by Vyapar Vikas Nidhi.

He also assured that the funds for the Kachhwa-Kapsethi road will be sanctioned soon.
Roads under the renovation plan will be renovated soon, he added. The Lanka-Godowlia road will be repaired on priority basis.
