Varanasi: The devotees visiting Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple will now enjoy prasad and food in the afternoon. For this, the temple administration has started the work of serving prasad on Monday in the newly constructed Bhogshala (kitchen), which has been named as Annapurna Bhawan.
Amid the chanting of Mangalacharan by 51 Brahmins under the leadership of temple trustee Braj Bhushan Ojha and Prof. Ram Narayan Dwivedi of Vidwat Parishad, the kitchen started functioning to serve the prasad and food to the common visitors.
The chief executive officer Sunil Kumar Verma informed that after the afternoon bhog aarti, the visitors will be able to take pure and sattvik prasad in the temple premises. This Bhogshala has been built near Saraswati Gate located in Kalika Gali, where the devotees will reach easily.
