VARANASI: In a move that attracted and amazed hundreds of locals of Sarnath, some 20 foreign students of Bajra Vidya Sansthan were found repairing and levelling the damaged roads near their institution.
According to Karma Guru, a native of Nepal and the leader of the team, they had made several complaints to the Varanasi Nagar Nigam (VNN) about the pathetic condition of the road.

However, no steps were taken. "The road has been causing problems to commuters and there was no way out of the this problem than repair," said Topgay, a Tibetan student.
According to Topgay, they had been working after classes for more than a week and had repaired nearly 300-metre of the road.
