Couple dies of burns at hospital

VARANASI: A couple, admitted to SPG Hospital after sustaining severe burn injuries at their residence, died during course of treatment on Thursday morning.
According to reports, Sanjay Yadav (30), a native of Kesaripur village under Rohania police station, dwelt at his parental house with his wife Dhanno (26). Sanjay was addict of 'ganja' and liquor. Though Dhanno used to quarrel with him regularly but he did not change his habit.
On Wednesday night, Dhanno and Sanjay quarrelled again after which she set herself on fire.
Sanjay also committed self-immolation. On hearing their cries, villagers ran towards the incident site. Later, the couple was rushed to SPG Hospital with the help of police. But, both of them died during the course of treatment in wee hours.
