Advocate booked for objectionable posts on Facebook
Varanasi: Police have booked an advocate for posting objectionable messages on Facebook.
In a complaint to the police, a lawyer at the Allahabad high court Saurabh Tiwari alleged that Mehmood Neyaz, an advocate, posted objectionable messages insulting the country.
“Neyaz, a law graduate from BHU, has posted messages on Facebook insulting the nation. When he found that he might land in trouble, he deleted his account.

However, I had taken the screenshots of the messages and have handed it to the police,” Saurabh Tiwari said.
Inspector, Dashashmedh police station, Siddharth Mishra said an FIR had been lodged under relevant sections of the Information Technology Act and the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act.
