Gorakhpur: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed officials to act promptly and sensitively on public complaints, assuring people that the Uttar Pradesh govt is committed to resolving every issue effectively.
For the second consecutive day during his Gorakhpur visit, the chief minister held a ‘Janata Darshan’ at Gorakhnath temple, where he met around 200 people and listened to their grievances. Interacting directly with applicants, he reviewed their petitions and referred them to administrative and police officials for necessary action.
Emphasising time-bound and satisfactory disposal of complaints, the CM instructed officials to ensure that every grievance is addressed in a fair and result-oriented manner. “Do not worry. The govt will ensure an effective solution to every problem,” he told the attendees.
At Janata Darshan, several people sought financial assistance for medical treatment. The chief minister assured them that the lack of funds would not hinder anyone’s medical treatment. He directed officials to prepare treatment estimates for the needy
patients at the earliest so that financial aid can be released without delay.
Several women also raised concerns regarding housing. Responding to this, Yogi said that the govt is committed to providing permanent housing to all eligible beneficiaries under central and state schemes and instructed officials to ensure that no deserving person is left out.
