VADODARA: In a
major reshuffle
, 32 engineers were transferred at the
Vadodara Municipal Corporation
(
VMC
). The town development office (
TDO
) saw the largest number of transfers with nine officials being shunted out.
The VMC commissioner brought out two different lists of transfers. The first list included 20 engineers of various departments including two deputy executive engineers of the TDO.
Deputy executive engineers Nilesh Parmar and Kajal Patel were shifted out of the TDO. Against his senior additional assistant engineer and in-charge deputy executive engineer Ravish Gamit was appointed in the TDO as the in-charge deputy town development officer. Seventeen other officers of various ranks were also transferred in the same list.
The second list of transfers on the day included 12 additional assistant engineers. The list shunted out seven engineers from the TDO and appointed five others in their place.
