Setu Shah
, will major in Economics in the university which is currently ranked fourth in the world.
Given the small intake percentage of international students -- at 8.8% -- this news came as a
pleasant surprise
to Setu who had been set on studying at the prestigious university for the past three years. He said, “The results were declared on March 31st. The first emotion was that of disbelief.
It was my dream to study at the university and I honestly couldn’t believe it when I was selected.” The admission process was a long and arduous task. To start with, Shah had to appear for Test Of English as a Foreign Language and Scholastic Assessment Test in which he scored 1480 out of 1600, which came to 99% percentile in the world.
Apart from that, he also appeared for another test called
Advanced Placement Test
which is a
college-level course
that can be studied in 11th and 12th.
