Junior cricketers brought laurels to the city yet another time by winning the state-level U-19 Hill Shield Trophy at Jamnagar recently.

VADODARA: Junior cricketers brought laurels to the city yet another time by winning the state-level U-19 Hill Shield Trophy at Jamnagar recently. The Vidhyakunj School team that was representing Baroda beat Bhavnagar by five wickets in the finals to lift the trophy. Bhavnagar scored 139 runs by losing all wickets. Smit Ghosh got three wickets for Baroda while Parth Bhatt got two scalps.
Baroda scored 143 runs in 32.3 overs by losing five wickets.

Raghav Dalwadi scored 35 runs, while Yash Adiacha made 25 runs. In semi-finals against Rajkot, Baroda scored 140 runs for loss of all wickets. Jagdish Parmar scored 30 run and Raghav Dalwadi scored 25. Rajkot was bowled out for 97 runs. tnn
