Vadodara: The Search My Child Foundation organized a series of awareness programmes in the city focusing on child safety, trafficking and related issues.
The sessions were held at Sigma University and Basil School for students and teachers, covering topics such as good touch and bad touch, child trafficking, gender equality and malnutrition. Participants were also sensitised to key provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
The programmes aimed to raise awareness and equip children, parents and educators with the knowledge needed to prevent crimes against children.
The foundation, led by social worker Kusum Bhatt, has conducted awareness drives in over 2,000 schools, reaching more than 6.65 lakh parents, teachers and students.
It has also helped reunite several missing children with their families in coordination with police and supported the education of economically underprivileged students.
