, owner of a firm. Chaturvedi
told the police that three residents of Mumbai cheated him of the money by promising to facilitate loan worth crores
of rupees. The accused also promised that he would get non-agriculture (NA) permission for his land.According to police, the accused accepted cheques worth Rs 23 lakh from Mukesh and another Rs 32 lakh from Revchandra in last one year. The accused have been identified as Vipul Pandit, resident of Vadodara, and Mumbai-based Bhavin Mehta and
Amit Bhandari. Chaturvedi told police that the accused became directors of his firm by winning his trust.
The accused then prepared bogus letter pads of the complainant's firm and made deal with two other firms by promising them to facilitate loans. The accused even accepted Rs four lakh from them and siphoned off the amount instead of depositing it in Chaturvedi's firm.
