4 children drownwhile playing in a rain-fed pondin Rajsamand dist

Udaipur: Four children, including three girls, drowned in a pond filled with rainwater on Thursday afternoon in Racheti village of Rajsamand district in Rajasthan. Police said Sakina, 11, her sister Lakshmi, 9, and their cousins, Lasa, 9, and her brother Suresh, 8, the children of two brothers living in Bagaria Basti of Racheti village, were playing together on Thursday afternoon.While playing the children went to the pond and started playing in the water but, unfortunately, all the four children drowned. When the children did not come back home after some time, their families started searching for them. TNN
