‘Vijay like trailer, AIADMK will triumph in climax’

Pudukottai: Former AIADMK minister C Vijayabaskar on Sunday said actor-turned-politician Vijay is like a trailer, but AIADMK would emerge victorious in the ‘climax.'The local strongman, who is contesting from Viralimalai and eyeing a fourth straight win, said there is a strong sentiment across Tamil Nadu to unseat the DMK govt. "AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami's campaign is gaining momentum. The party's manifesto, released in phases before its final version, has been well received by the public. AIADMK is the only party capable of delivering on its promises. We will counter criticisms during the campaign, highlight our achievements," he said.Reacting to Vijay's claim that the contest was primarily between DMK and TVK, Vijayabaskar said, "Anyone can say anything like a movie trailer, but it is AIADMK that will win in the climax." The party was on an upward trajectory and confident of returning to power, he said.
