Man arrested for threatening court employee

Trichy: Trichy rural police arrested a 37-year-old man for deterring a woman employee of the judicial magistrate court in Lalgudi from discharging her duty and criminally intimidating her on Tuesday.
Lalgudi police said R Rajasekar of Ariyur trespassed into the court hall around 4 pm and picked up a quarrel with head clerk M Devi over sharing information on bail for a woman in a case.He also threatened her with dire consequences.
Acting on Devi’s complaint, police booked Rajasekar under three sections and arrested him. He was remanded by the court till October 10. TNN
