IIM Trichy gets excellence award

Trichy: Indian Institute of Management(IIM), Trichy, has been conferred with the Institutional Excellence Award 2025 by the Project Management Associates India (PMA-India), the Indian member association of the International Project Management Association (IPMA).The institute said the award recognises its commitment to advancing the discipline and practice of project management through academic rigour, industry engagement, and professional certification outcomes. The award was presented at an event held in Mahabalipuram near Chennai last week. Professor Satish S Maheswarappa, dean (academics), received the award from minister for information technology and digital services Palanivel Thiaga Rajan. "IIM Trichy offers project management-related courses as electives in its MBA programmes. The institute recently launched a postgraduate certificate programme in advanced infrastructure project management," Godwin Tennyson, director in-charge, IIM Trichy, said.The IPMA is a non-profit federation that promotes competence, standards, and excellence in project management across countries and industries.
