Drones banned for three days in Thanjavur for PM’s visit
Trichy: The Thanjavur district administration has imposed a ban on flying drones throughout the district from Feb 28 to March 2 during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the state.Modi will visit Tamil Nadu for three days and take part in several events. According to sources, his itinerary includes travel via Thanjavur en route to Madurai. For security purposes, the district administration has enforced a total prohibition on drones and all types of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Violators will face strict legal consequences, said district collector B Priyanka Pankajam in a statement issued on Wednesday.
