Cases filed against AIADMK candidate

Karur: Police have registered cases against former minister and AIADMK's Karur candidate M R Vijayabhaskar for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct, following complaints from the static surveillance team and flying squad on Saturday.A large number of party cadre had gathered at Sukkaliyur near the district border on Friday. Similar receptions were organised at two locations within Karur town. Acting on the complaints, Thanthonimalai police booked a case against the candidate and his supporters, while Karur town police registered two separate cases against the cadre.
