Special train to run between Thiruvananthapuram and Howrah

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Southern Railway will run special train to clear the extra rush of traffic due to dislocation of

train services

caused by heavy rains and flooding of railway tracks in North-East Frontier Railway.

Train No.06515 Thiruvananthapuram – Howrah superfast special fare special train via Coimbatore and

Chennai Central

will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 12.40 pm on Sunday. The train will reach Howrah at 10.55 am on Tuesday.

The train includes one AC 2-tier, four AC 3-tier, thirteen sleeper class, one second class chair car, two general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

The train will have stoppages at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Central, Ongole, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Balugaon, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur and Santragachi.

Advance reservations for the above train will commence at 4 pm on Saturday.
