Sesham bags Padmarajan Puraskaram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state award-winning film, <IF>Sesham<NF> (thereafter) directed by T K Rajeev Kumar, has been chosen for this year's Padmarajan Puraskaram instituted by the Padmarajan trust.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state award-winning film, Sesham (thereafter) directed by T K Rajeev Kumar, has been chosen for this year''s Padmarajan Puraskaram instituted by the Padmarajan trust.
The award, instituted in memory of noted Malayalam director Padmarajan, carries a cash prize of Rs 20,000 and memento to the director and Rs 10,000 cash prize and memento to the script-writer.

Rajeev Kumar himself did the script for the film.
The Padmarajan award for the best short story went for eminent Malayalam novelist M Mukundan. He would receive Rs 10,000 and a memento.
The awards were announced at a press conference here on Tuesday by trust secretaries K Babu Prasad and K Padmanabha Panicker in the presence of jury members who included film director K G George, K K Chandran and Sudha Warrier.
