T'puram: The 13th edition of Prathidhwani Qisa Film Festival (PQFF) organised by Prathidhwani, the welfare association of IT employees has concluded. The festival showcased 32 short films directed by IT employees. The jury, chaired by dubbing artist and actor Aliyar, along with director Prashanth Vijay and actor Pradeep Kumar, evaluated the films. The award ceremony was inaugurated by Soorya Krishnamoorthy.
The best film award was won by ‘Patterns', directed by Raj Govind of Entri Software, Kochi, while ‘Cubicled', directed by Mahesh Manas of IBM, Kochi, won the second-best film award. The best director award went to Akhil Govind of EY, Kochi, for ‘Manikandan'. Rakesh Gopalakrishnan from UST, Thiruvananthapuram, won best screenplay for the film ‘Atharvam'. John Paul Mathew was honoured with best cinematography for ‘How are you..?', and Nikhil Sudarshan received best editor for Patterns.
The best actor award was presented to Anumod Sagar of Infosys, Thiruvananthapuram, for ‘Kintsugi'. Dhanya Parvathi from Strada Global, Kochi, received best actress award for ‘Beyond the Door'. Viewers' choice award was won by ‘Dwayam', directed by Amal of Ainsurtech, Thiruvananthapuram. Special mentions were given to Pradeep Joseph (UST) for Patterns and Vinod Kumar Rajan for Manikandan.
