KTDC launches premium life membership schemes

KTDC

) has rolled out premium life membership and institutional membership cards for individuals and institutions, offering a free stay for seven nights each year, along with substantial discounts on all its premium facilities, including hotels at hill stations and beach resorts.

The scheme was launched by finance minister T M Thomas Isaac in the presence of tourism minister Kadakampally Surendran in the capital on Thursday. The fee for premium life membership has been fixed at Rs 10 lakh while the same for institutional membership is Rs 15 lakh, both inclusive of taxes.

A premium life member can avail a 7-day complimentary stay for two adults and two children (aged below 12) at all KTDC properties a year, subject to availability. Any extra room, if required during the visit, will be offered at 40% discount including room rent, food, beverage and ayurvedic spa.

The member can also authorize any other guest to avail the complimentary stay in case he/she doesn’t utilize the offer in a particular year.

Another attractive feature is that the member can dine with 10 members and avail 40% discount on food and beverages. There will be 20% discount for alcoholic beverages in all outlets of premium KTDC properties.

The member is also entitled to a 50% discount on room rent during all other stay at KTDC properties. An additional room requirement – during such stays – will get a 40% discount. Apart from rooms, convention facilities at KTDC will be given at 50% discount on the occasion of their children’s marriage.

Institutional members can hold their membership for a period of three years from the date of registration.

The institution is entitled to rooms in premium segment at a discount of 35% on room rent, 20% on food and beverages and ayurvedic spa facility. The discount structure in other KTDC properties will be 20% on room rent and 10% on food and beverages and ayurvedic spa.
