Film Critics Award today

Thiruvananthapuram: Adoor Gopalakrishan will inaugurate the 44th Film Critics Award 2022 function on Thursday at Symphony Hall, Mascot Hotel. Novelist George Onakkoor will be the chief guest of the event which will be attended by food and civil supplies minister G R Anil and eminent personalities from the film field.Due to the pandemic situation the film critic award night was not held for the past three years.On Thursday awards for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 will be distributed. The organisers said over 150 people will be receiving the award.
Director Harikumar will be awarded the jubilee award and actor Menaka and cinematographer Vipin Mohan will receive Chalachitra Pratibha awards. TNN
