Digital media literacy camp today

T’puram: The department of higher education will organise a two-day training

camp

on digital

media

literacy from Monday. Education minister R Bindu will inaugurate the training camp at KTDC Samudra.

The training session is being organised in connection with ‘Satyameva jayathe’, the

digital

media literacy campaign. It aims at creating awareness among the students and youths on safe use of digital technology.

Identifying fake information, fact-checking tools awareness, data analytics, fact checking, media research will be covered during the training camp and master trainers will be given training based on these aspects. They will further provide training to students and teachers. Additional chief secretary V Venu will be present at the inaugural function which will be held at 10 am on Monday.
