Arya Samaj, Vedi leaders to meet CM

KOCHI: The Arya Samaj and Hindu Aikya Vedi leaders will be meeting Kerala Chief Minister A K Antony on Friday, Vedi sources here said on Thursday.
This is the first meeting of the Samaj and Vedi leaders with the chief minister after the May 2 carnage, which claimed nine lives.
Hindu Aiyaka Vedi president J Shishupalan, its General Secretary, Kummananam Rajasekharan, Arya Samajam President T Dasan are among those meeting the CM, Vedi sourses said.
On Wednesday five women, who had lost their husbands in the carnage, had met Deputy Prime Minster L K Advani and submitted a memorandum seeking CBI enquiry into the violence.
