Waste disposal still a big problem in Mumbra, Diva, says Rane

Thane: Congress leader Narayan Rane has accused chief minister Devendra Fadnavis to be shielding criminals for the sake of continuing their alliance with the Sena in the state.
Rane made this statement at a public rally in Kisan Nagar ahead of the municipal polls in Thane, referring to the incident where municipal commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal made a late night call to the chief minister about an imminent threat to his life.
Rane also raised questions over the silence of the chief minister over the waste dumping issue in Diva asking what stopped them from formulating a solution during their rule. “Why is it that the issues is being raised just before the elections,” questioned Rane.
