Thane is set to get modern commercial and transit facilities as Indian Railways monetises air rights by developing an 11-floor tower at Thane station. The project aims to enhance connectivity while generating long-term revenue through commercial leasing. Manthan K Mehta reports

Development details- Jointly developed by Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) & Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC). Tripartite agreement was signed by railway ministry, RLDA and TMC in 2023.
