Security guard's gun stolen in Palghar

PALGHAR: A 12 bore gun and four live rounds of a 27 year old, Kashmir resident Sulman Kabir Hussain, were stolen on July 3 around 11:30pm. He was recently recruited (four days ago) and worked as a security guard with the Jijau Construction Road Builder private limited at their crusher plant located at Wada taluka, Palghar district. Just before the incident he had confronted three men near the site who were wearing black raincoats.

Cops at Wada police station said that he fell at the site and went to a doctor and when he returned he realised that his gun was stolen, along with four live rounds.

Cops also confirmed that he had named three unknow men as accused as he had confronted them a while before the incident.

This was a licence weapon which had an all India permit and was registered in Poonch, J&K. After he completed his medication, he visited Wada police station on July 6 and registered a case under sections of theft.
