KALYAN: Amid the bird flu scare in
Maharashtra, two birds were found dead in
Kalyan on Tuesday morning.
The birds' death was reported at Gauripada area in Kalyan (West). The locals who spotted the dead bird informed about incident to local BJP corporator Daya Gaikwad who later informed to health department of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation as well as Forest Department.
Dr Pratibha Panpatil, Health Officer of KDMC said, "The cause of the birds' death is not known yet. The carcass have been sent to Disease Investigation Agency in Pune for the probe".
