Two more positive swine flu cases in city

Two more positive cases of swine flu have been reported from Katargam and Udhna areas of the city, which witnessed death of a four-year-old girl due to H1N1 virus on Wednesday.

SURAT: Two more positive cases of swine flu have been reported from Katargam and Udhna areas of the city, which witnessed death of a four-year-old girl due to H1N1 virus on Wednesday.
The total number of swine flu positive cases in the city have gone up to 162 till Thursday.
Dr Piyush Shah, nodal officer of swine flu cell in jilla panchayat, said, "Five suspected swine flu patients were reported on Thursday.

Of these five, two were admitted to Apple Hospital and three in New Civil Hospital in the city. A 30-year-old male from Katargam and a 24-year-old female from Amrutnagar, Udhna tested positive for H1N1 virus."
Swine flu has claimed 26 lives in the city so far.
