Teacher hits student with duster

BHARUCH: A class III student of Shravan Vidyadham was hit and injured by a woman teacher on Tuesday for wearing socks during class. But, the teacher was quick to render an apology after the boy's parents confronted her. Sources said Rajesh Thakkar, a class III student, was wearing his socks during Hindi class which irritated the teacher who threw a duster at him and injured his face.
Thakkar complained to his parents, who confronted her following which the woman apologised in writing. The incident has been reported to the education department, which is likely to make inquiries, sources said.
