Man nabbed with 14 kg marijuana worth Rs 73k

SURAT: Crime Branch on Tuesday nabbed a person with 14 kgs of marijuana worth Rs 73,000 at Vishala Circle in Sarkhej. Acting on a tip-off, a team led by police inspector B M Desai and constable Nisar Ahmed intercepted 60-year-old Abdul Aziz Arab, a resident of Juhapura. During interrogation, 14-kg marijuana was recovered from Arab. Arab later confessed that he took this contraband from Sitaram Udia of Surat and he has been selling marijuana since last one-and-half years.
