Key accused held from Delhi

Surat: CID crime on Saturday arrested Divyesh Darji, one of the key accused in Bitcoin fraud case from New Delhi airport. Police had earlier issued lookout notice for Drji after which he was nabbed from the airport as he was returning from Dubai, police informed. Darji was detained by immigration department and handed over to CID crime team. Along with Darji, Satish Kumbhani, Suresh Gorasiya and Dhaval Mavani were booked on July 21 by the CID crime for alleged fraud of Rs 1.14 crore with investor Ashwin Limbasiya, a resident of Sarthana. The accused were booked for criminal breach of trust, cheating and various sections of IPC, Gujarat Protection of Interest of Depositors Act and The Prize Chits and Money Circulation Scheme (Banning) Act. The accused floated bitcoins under name of Bitconnect in 2016. tnn
