Shimla: The Shimla Music Festival kicked off at Gaiety Theatre here on Tuesday. It was inaugurated by deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri.
Sarod player Arnab Chakrabarty, kathak exponent Manjari Chaturvedi and classical singer Meeta Pandit, among other artists, are participating in the 3-day event. The deputy CM felicitated Padma Sri Som Dutt Battu on the occasion. Battu is a singer of Patiala gharana from Shimla.tnn
