Shimla: Himachal Pradesh public works department (PWD) minister Vikramaditya Singh on Thursday directed the officials concerned to complete the ongoing construction works timely and submit their utilisation certificates, to enable securing extra budget from the govt. Presiding over a review meeting of the PWD officials, the cabinet minister obtained detailed information of various works of the department, including construction of roads, bridges and buildings. The minister also sought the progress report of various works within two days and directed officials to upgrade the data. No expenditure should be made without the availability of the budget, he added.
