has gone viral on social media. While some are appreciating his simplicity there are few who are questioning others for not been able to shun VVIP culture after becoming minister or assuming some other public office. However, this is not the first time when Anurag Thakur has travelled in a bus as in past as MP he used to travel between Delhi and his
Hamrpur Parliamentary constituency
in bus or train.
Anurag Thakur had addressed six public meetings on Sunday in Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh. After wrapping up his programmes, he finally took the night bus for Delhi from Chandigarh. He had travelled in Hamirpur-Delhi HRTC.
It is being said that while travelling in the HRTC bus for Delhi, Anurag Thakur slept in his seat and someone clicked his pictures and uploaded them on social media.
After attending the function at
Chintpurni
and Pragpur in
Kangra district
, Anurag Thakur had returned to Delhi the same day. Anurag Thakur said that he travelled by bus to Delhi during which someone clicked his pictures and uploaded on social media.
He said that he likes to travel by public transport be it bus or train as it provides him opportunity to interact with people and to know about their problems. He said that during interaction many a time people give him valuable feedback that helps him to serve people in a better way.
Seeing Anurag Thakur travelling and sleeping in bus like any other ordinary citizen, some people have already started questioning politician s who prefer to travel in luxury vehicles or choppers.
