6 new schemes to be launched tomorrow: CM

Shimla: The Congress govt in Himachal Pradesh is going to launch six new schemes on December 11 to mark the completion of two years of the govt in the state.Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said on Monday, that the schemes to be launched include e-taxi under Rajiv Gandhi Start-up Swarojgar Yojna and Indira Gandhi Sukh Shiksha Yojna to offer financial assistance to the children of widows to pursue their higher education. This also includes the H. Shiva Project, Him Bhog Atta, Cow Dung Purchase scheme, and transferring money to those farmers whose naturally grown maize has been procured by the state govt. Sukhu said that five Ayush Mobile Vans would also be flagged off. The beneficiaries of the old pension scheme and Mukhya Mantri Sukh Ashray Yojna would also be delivered cheques. The state govt would also honour freedom fighters. The CM, on Monday, reviewed preparedness of arrangements to mark the completion of two years of the govt being organised in Bilaspur on Dec 11.tnn

Delhi govt confirms 2013 launch of voluntary disclosure scheme amid NGT scrutiny

The Delhi government has confirmed the existence of a 2013 voluntary disclosure scheme (VDS) for illegal groundwater extraction, following questions from the National Green Tribunal (NGT) about exemptions granted to Paharganj guesthouses. The NGT had suspected a scam due to a lack of official records of the VDS.
