Follow cultural heritage to prosper: HP guv
Shimla: Himachal Pradesh governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said on Friday that culture is our heritage and we should follow our heritage only then we could prosper.
Addressing the concluding ceremony of the ‘International Shree Renuka Ji Fair’ in Sirmaur district, Shukla added that Renuka Ji is the most beautiful pilgrimage place of Himachal. "This tradition of meeting of Shree Renuka Ji and Lord Parshuram Ji and Renuka Lake attracts people and they have followed this age-old tradition with enthusiasm,” he added.
"As society prospers, it should also keep its values," he said. He added that the younger generations have the onus of protecting culture. He performed pooja in Lord Parshuram and Mata Renuka temples and also participated in the ‘Dev Vidai’ procession. He joined PM’s Bihar event virtually.
