Shimla: Himachal Pradesh chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Saturday said his govt disbursed over Rs 32 crore through the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board in its tenure to help 8,883 registered beneficiaries.
He claimed to have given more than Rs 10 crore to 3,514 workers as educational assistance for their children, disbursed Rs 13 crore to 2,543 workers as marriage assistance, and Rs 1 crore to 537 workers as maternity and paternity benefits.
