CM Sukhu pushes for ecotourim
Shimla: Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday inaugurated Bhureshwar Mahadev fair in the Pachhad constituency of Sirmaur district.
He also unveiled a new idol of lord Shiva and inaugurated the Van Vatika Bhureshvar and Kwagdhar helipad.
Sukhu said ecotourism development around the Bhureshwar Mahadev area would bolster the local economy and create employment opportunities in the area.He also instructed for widening of the Lwasa Chowki to Chandigarh road.
The state govt is committed to make HP self-reliant by 2027 and one of the most prosperous states in the country by 2032, said Sukhu, adding that the state govt had approved recruitment of 6,000 teachers. tnn
